The difference between the 02, and 03, Bonneville America was the addition of the Caspian Blue and Silver paint scheme. I am the original owner of such a Bonnie. I bought it in oct. of 02. The inspection tag on the neck sways its an 02 the color scheme says 03. | ||||||

For the mathematically challenged The bike is 15 yrs old. I have 78505 miles on it. I logged 170 miles yesterday, most of it between 75 and 85 mph. Of course the folks I ride with have H-D´s and I stay right with them all day. I love this motorcycle! I love the mechanics of old school motorcycles. You won´t find a computer chip anywhere on this bike. It has been said that what makes Triumph a great motorcycle is the fact that it´s not great at anything, but it does everything very well. I subscribe to that theory. It does everything I ask it to do unless I ask it to do 100, it won´t do that. This bike still puts a smile on my face and aside from tune ups, tires, and chains it has never had major work done, ever. |
