The difference between the 02, and 03, Bonneville America was the addition of the Caspian Blue and Silver paint scheme. I am the original owner of such a Bonnie. I bought it in oct. of 02. The inspection tag on the neck sways its an 02 the color scheme says 03.

For the mathematically challenged The bike is 15 yrs old. I have 78505 miles on it. I logged 170 miles yesterday, most of it between 75 and 85 mph. Of course the folks I ride with have H-D´s and I stay right with them all day.

I love this motorcycle! I love the mechanics of old school motorcycles. You won´t find a computer chip anywhere on this bike. It has been said that what makes Triumph a great motorcycle is the fact that it´s not great at anything, but it does everything very well. I subscribe to that theory. It does everything I ask it to do unless I ask it to do 100, it won´t do that.

This bike still puts a smile on my face and aside from tune ups, tires, and chains it has never had major work done, ever.
