Adding power to the EVO

I´m looking to liven up my 99 FatBoy. I had a mikuni slide carb installed last year and although feel a difference in throttle response, overall not a big boost.
I´m considering changing the heads to the screamn eagle performace heads and having a screamin eagle .575 lift cam installed. The dealer will do the job complete for $2500, but promise it will be night and day.
Has anyone had this type of work done? Were you impressed? Looking for any feedback at all
Thanks, Jon
