I always had old dirt bikes that I road around on until I got a sweet deal on the CB350. ($250.00) I road the bike around for many miles and always had a blast. I sold it in 1981 so I could keep my wife and regret it til this day. OK! she was worth it! I still miss the bike though. Now that the kids are grown she wants me to get another one. Go figure!!! After much research, and looking at the new bikes, I have decided to try and find a 450 Nighthawk from the early ´80s as the new ones don´t appeal to me at all. You either have a 900lb boat anchor or a 250cc imitation of the 900lb boat anchor. On the other side, you can get a mid range bike that you can lay on top of, put your chin on the headlight, your feet on the rear axle and travel for 30 miles or until you are sterile whichever comes first. Give me the old comfortable 350/450 bikes that can handle a trail or two if you get the inclination.
