I had a 72 500 and that same year after I broke the motor in (which I was always told break the way in your going to ride it)I was clocked doing 127mph riding double.The cop said I pulled away from him like he was chained to the guard rail.The only reason he caught me was he knew where I lived and he waited for me to come home.I took my 500 to drag strip and clocked in at low 10´s(10.20-10.05)consistantly.this bike was stock to.
