1971 "Special Edition" Triumph Tiger? I´m afraid not. 71 was the first year of the Oil in Frame although the Tiger is still a nice bike even though its seat height is a little tall. The single carb Tiger makes for a nice tractable ride but the Interstate would be the better tourer with the bigger engine and larger fuel tank. $2800 sounds like a pretty good price for a completely restored Triumph even if it´s not a "special edition".
