Hi,I have a 1970 Bonneville which has been mine for about 15 years or so, I feel it has a lot of bits which are not correct and would like to get it back to original spec, not concourse, but a really nice usable bike. It is already that actualy, but needs some TLC to make it a beauty. First thoughts are the clocks are wrong, they seem to be off a later 750 machine, the pipes are wrong, looklike Norton Commando to me. It seems to be US spec, but I think bars have been changed to higher rise than normal. I am loking to get it sorted, maybe rebuilt wheels and re paint, mudgards are rusty chrome so thats must. Ill send some picturesif someone is happy to assist me in my project? |
