Well, I bought one of the ´01 Sprint RS bikes off of eBay last week. The price was too good to pass up & she still had a warranty, but had sat about for 2 years unused. I flew up to Salt Lake City and picked the bike up and rode it home to Albuquerque in about 14 hours -- a 600 miles trip. Don´t try that on a Harley or a Buell...you´ll have something leaking or seized; even without really maintenance, she made it the distance, all high-speed driving with zero problems, over than a stiff clutch/shift action.

The bike has ungoldy amounts of torque and plenty of get-up. I was breaking her in, so I started slow in windy back-roads two lane highways. At 55-65mph, she gets 60 or so mpg. It handles very well at speed. At 80mph, I was able to lift the tire (unintentionally) during a passing maneuver; as I said...looads of mid-range torque.

At slower speeds, she´s a little less maneuverable; I´m used to smaller, lighter bikes -- people used to big sportbikes will most likely have no troubles.

She´s an all-around good cycle.
