For starters, get the thing to breathe better, buy a slip on (D&D I´d say) and a K&N airfilter. Don´t just slap these things on go to a good shop (if you are in so cal I can reccomend one) and make sure to get it properly jetted, ask the mechanic if he plans to "drill" the carbs, if he doesen´t know what you´re talking about, leave. Drilling the carbs is a procedure that allows the technician to richen up your pilot circut to accomodate the newfound airflow. After all that change your gearing I don´t know if you want top end speed or better off the line performance, but either of these can be significantly improved with a gear change. Finally I would run redline 5-30 oil, this shit is amazing, just make sure to check the oil level regularly cause it evaporates a little. This stuff wa the difference between all motor wheelies and having to fan the clutch - good luck dude
