I have a 1980 Interstate..always ran a bit cold..my shop said that generally Hondas were designed to run cold (I believe that characteristic enhances engine life)..yesterday in 50F weather I have to ride in 4th gear to see the gauge in middle of normal. In cooler weather it is usually in the normal range right against the left side. Yes, mine gets hot stopped in traffic in hot weather but it never overheats. CHEERS, RON
