02 Honda VTX 1800 C discussion forum:Hard shifting |

| My 2002 VTX1800C is making a loud clunking noise when shifting between 1 & 2 gear, sometimes also between 2 & 3rd. Only when hot. When the bike is cool it shifts fine. There is no clutch drag that I can feel. This has been going on for sometime and I have experimented with various oils to try to eliminate the problem with no success. It never misses a shift or any other problem like that but it sounds terrible. Has anyone else experienced this? |
