Small things on new used bike

Small things on new used bike

My wife bropught back a used 2001 GS home. I tried it and found the following on it:
Idle seems fast (1800 rpm)
Neutral indicator intermittent
Passing headlight switch does not work

Why is tere an arc on the speedometer?

Is that the only bike with these problems?
