Hello- I just bought a 2001 BMW 650 GS, and took it for our first long ride. At the end of the day, I downshifted to slow down, and the engine died. After much frustration, I finally got it started. I went to a friends, house that was close, let it sit, and she started right up, only to die again at the next stop sign, and the next. It seemed to run fine, when I finally got it to run. Any ideas on the cause? I think it sounds like electrical (translate, very expensive troubleshooting). Any one who has has this problem, please help!
