The windshield on m 2001 F 650 GS

I have a F650 GS. It came with the Dakar windshield and I am not sure what that windshield is good for because it sure isn´t good at deflecting insects, unless it is right into my visor. There is so much buffeting and turbulance...does anyone have any good suggestions for a better windshield?
