I´m thinking about purchasing one of these machines for a tour of Africa next year and in the meantime using it about town.
I´ve heard the electrics can be dodgy thus making trips to more remote areas a little risky. Plus I´ve heard service costs are astronomical.

Are there any owners out there who can give me the lowdown?
