Back in march of 09 I bought my FZ1 Yamaha and I really do love almost everything about this bike.Plans are to epoxie the intake ports down a bit for more low end torque. and should not hurt top end because it has three intake valves to breath with.And do some port clean up and add a race five angle valve job.It only has a little over 200 miles on the motor. so I have not spun the motor up past 4500 rpm-when I get my break in miles then I will spin the motor up all out to 12,000 rpm´s. till then happy motoring.ps. why did I buy a standard? you might ask because im 55 years old that´s why good day. WR
