need help in figuring out why my v30 magna wont run any faster than 55 wide open throttle and when i go into O.D. it backs off to about 50 mph no more power.. The fuel pump wasnt pumping fuel so i assumed it was dead so inremoved it and pitched it. went to oreileys autonparts bought a universal 3 to 5 lb in line fuel pump. bike starts great but wont run over 55 mph. and after that nothing. no top end power. could it be that the fuel pump i have on it is whats causing my trouble? if so i need one for my 84 v30 magna .....any help is greatly appreciated
