Hi, just stumbled on this site. I have a late 08 Terra, these engines have a Nicosil-lined bore and are very very tight when new, expect to do 2000 miles before it loosens-up. I did a very low-rev first 1000miles, with an oil change at 400miles and 1000miles, then gradually increased the revs with mileage. Use Silcolene 10/40 Semi-synthetic oil. Mine goes like **** of a shovel, but do get your dealer to set the mixture with a Co-meter as NOW RECOMENDED by Derbi
