Here´s a basic question about batteries and sensors. I acquired a used touring bike a couple months ago (actually a 1987 Suzuki Cavalcade 1400) that is currently in need of a new battery. It has the old fluid filled battery in it and I wanted to switch to gel. I got the gel battery, but one thing I didn´t take into consideration is the low fluid sensor that puts a notice on the lcd screen when the battery runs low. Now that I am not using a fluid filled battery, and have nothing to stick the sensor into, what do I do with that wire (only one) to make the notice go away? There is not a specific fuse for the sensor or I would just pull that out. Helpful thoughts are appreciated.
