My v5 was transfered into a three wheel bike by beaufortmotorsports.com and from the day that i recieved this bike i have had problems with the variator, with less than 20 miles the nut backed off causing damage in the transmission/engine area.The company sent me one that look used not new and i put on as instructed and the unit failed again this time the variator came apart behind the nut and washer on the engine shaft causing some spline damage to the shaft. I sent pictures to the manufacter was told that they sent the pictures to cfmoto manufacter and are waiting for them to get back with them on weather there is a need for engine replacement are not. Beaufortmotorsports.com does´nt seem like they want to help very much in this matter. They are telling me that my bike is a Demo bike and they are not reposible for anything that they sold to me even thou they built this bike for me as we agreed upon over the phone. Just wanted to let you know that there is a problem in this area with the variator when bike is transformed into three wheeler. Thanks for your time!
