Well this Gp 800 gilera..I hope im not making any mistakes but im picking mine up (in Black) next week..It seems to be a love it or hate it kind of bike/scooter...Me i have nothing to compare it with in its class, so im going to be reasonably biased when it comes to a write up...I get it that its heavy and not easy round town..However im a 13.5 stone 6ft3 very fit 40 year old who runs 6-8 miles a day and weight trains every other day so i dont think im going to be too phased by this scooters weight. I hope to run it accross france next year 2 up with the Mrs and full luggage so i will keep you all up to date with how the Gilera performs..Have ridden most 2 wheeled bike types at some time or another so i hope my write up will be ok...My mate Glen is going to come touring on his Piaggio Beverly 500...so that should be a laugh if nothing else..catch you soon..
