Had recently purchased front and back brake pads for my 08 deluxe with a four piston front caliper and a two piston adjustable rear caliper. Called the h-d dealership nearest to my home , and was told 28-38 ft lbs for the front caliper bolts, and 40 ft lbs for the rear clips bolts, didn´t think twice about it until I actually started to torque the rear caliper bolts to specs I was givin. Wrong, that can´t be right, can someone help me out here. Should they not be the same torque specs for the front and rear at 28-38 ft lbs..?
