Hi, just bought a 1200r in march and I really love this bike!.I´ve made a few changes, like new pipes, conontrol fuel moduel, and air kit.It sounds better and is more responsive....(smile)....I want to get drag bars next (pearsonaly like the look they give the bike).Bike only has 645 miles to date 4-6-07 I´ve been told the bike will get better in power and in the way it runs by 2500 miles when the bike is fully broke in (recommendation at this time is to run synthetic oil)the thought of this considering the way the bike respones now is very nice. I have to say though that I think I´m going to have to change the springs for a stiffer ride to push down the front end a bit.... I hit about 90 and the front end started to dance a bit. I´m a good 190 at 5´10 this could have something to do with it, but I have to say I did get there pretty quick with more to go (that is the 90 mph) and this only makes me love my bike even more , not that I´m some kind of speed racer ,but just for the fact that I´m pretty sure I have a damm good bike.I would love to hear from future buyers or presnt owners of the model 1200r new or older to talk . Take care ride safe.
