it´s definitely avalable in the U.S. cuz i just purchased a 2006,and yes it has less power than the dr-z400sm,stock it has a limiting screw in the carb that will only allow you 1/3 throttle, from what my dealer says we can thank the granola´s for that.San Francisco isn´t falling into the bay fast enough for me! Replace that screw, take off the airbox lid,and rejet and you got a little over fifty horsepower,Which is respectable.I beleive any dirtbike converted to a supermotard will more than likely run this bike to the ground, but on the streets it´s a blast.Good Brakes,Beautiful styling and the fact they only brought 70 to the states this year made me snatch up the first and only one i´ve seen.Just ignore the price of aftermarket exhaust lol
