KTM 2006 Adventure 950 User Manual states the bike factory setting is for Premium gas and you have to unplug ignition curve connector when switching from Premium to lower grade fuel, otherwise engine damage occurs due to poor ingnition glow. What is the reality of this practice? Do oweners really do that? If not, how much damage really occurs. Any commnets from experience would be appreciated. Thank you. Yours, ktmadventureme.
