I purchased my V-Rod Aug 7 2006. When I bought it I noticed a slight surge when in any gear holding throttle between 1500 - 3000 rpm. Going through the gears 1- 5 was fine.( Keep in mind slow idle is 1200 rpm.) Surge would happen 3 to 4 times in 20 miles. Sometime you could see tach take a drop to about 900 rpm at idel.
