The Radian doesn´t have a fuel pump as the carbs are gravity fed. I seem to notice that a lot of owners are having the same problems as I had with mine; in particular to do with fuel and idling. I suggest that what you do is check your carbs again and this time, trace the source of your problem back to the fuel tank. Mine was full of rust dust that blocked up my carbs and fuel line so the best thing to do is drain the tank, let it dry out over a day or so and then inspect for this fine dust as it will forever give you trouble, I should know! Accompanied by constant fuel starvation, running lumpy and the the engine overheating due to running lean, followed by the cylinder head warping meaning a re skim, this particular bike seems to plagued by this problem. Is yours a grey import by any chance? I´m in the UK and bought a used 1986 model in 1995. I liked it but got shot of it a year later for an even worse FJ1200.
