gas leaking into oil.

I bought a 1990 Radian. Last week it started leaking gas into the oil and I could see it in the sight glass. I took it back to the guy I bought it from, he stated it was gas getting past the tank vent and said he replaced it. Yesterday the bike did the same thing. I started it and it started to leak gas all over the place, and I dropped down and I could see it again in the oil sight glass. The guy said take the seat off and take the vent off and try to blow through it. My question is what if I can blow through it. What else would be wrong with my bike! If anyone has a suggestion please email me back. Thnaks!
