I know this is long after the post but it could still help. Personally I wouldn´t try anything bigger, that rear tire is in there tight as it comes. I have changed my rear tire once. My old tire I fish tailed nearly every time I took off. It would slide with hard braking. Pretty scary. I put on a Shinko Tour Master. This tire has never slipped, balanced perfect with no weights. Front tire I put on a Pirelli Sport Demon. This tire is great grip, great tire. The cons on the front tire is lots of weights to balance it. Also slow seepage leak I can´t find even with soap bubbles.
