that is a false top speed. have a 1986 yamaha yx600 (radian) and so far that fastest i have got the bike to go is 126mph and its not kph but instead its mph. so if the bike is only topping out at 77.7 mph then their might be a problem with the bike. so you might want to check the carburetors. but anyway this is a good little old bike to have its runs great in the city. and on the highway, but the engine starts to struggle a little bit after you start getting high into the rpm range 7500+ rpm but i keep it lower than that on the bike and so far there has been no issues with the bike.
