Dear Rob,
I am also a owner of the same bike. I had experienced the same issue and then had it fixed.
Before I tell you about the solution I must tell you it can be a bit expensive and please check the piston and ring pistons first and above all. Externally you can check by looking at the exhaust smoke if any, as normally there sudn´t be any smokes. Also check the the exhaust pipe ends if its greasy or oily, which is bad. If this is the case simply change the pistons. If not then you first need to check the fuel flow from the air-filter to the carb. Second chk the fuel nozzles if it through equal and adequate amount of fuel to the head, if not clean them. If this doesn´t help the third step, now comes the expensive part, open the head and check the CAM and also the flow of fuel through the head chambers to the Valve. Check the Valves if its broken or bent by any chance. If this is the case change or replace all the CAM Rocker and CAM Shaft as well as all the valves. This will surely fix the fuel flow to restore your bike.
