I dont have regular acces to the web, but will welcome feedback to my e-mail as above. I have just bought a NL3 FZR 250, it has this no ( NL3 ) on the frame and also the electrical box under the back seat, however the engine no is 1HX, obviously the previous owner swapped engines. Ihave trouble getting her to rev up, espesially under load, I have checked and cleaned the carbs, had them reset, I have checked the exup valve and installed a new airfilter and s/plugs. My guess is that the pickup of the 1HX engine might not be compatible with the electronics of the 3 LN. I can only get her to start and rev to appr 6000rpm with a lot of effort. Any ideas on this? Has anyone done a conversion like this and do I need to change electronic system or something. Appreciate any help in this regard. Thanks, Juan South Africa |
