One last update as the bike has been fixed. Discovered the entire root of my problem lied under my ass. Literally, the seat had lost its rubber spacers and was grounding out some wiring when I rode it. A little bit of fuel hose for a makeshift spacer fixed the issue entirely. I went ahead and replaced all the fuel lines just to be on the safe side and the bike is running like a charm.
Went ahead and changed the oil and bled and replaced the brake fluid and things are great. Gotta say I am very stoked! Thanks for all the info!
