Well here´s an update. Tore the carb apart and the thing was pretty nasty. The filters had bugs and other assorted goodies in em. That aside floats were fine and the rest of the carb was in good shape.

Replaced all the fuel lines with new ones as well as changed the nasty fuel filter. During this process I discovered a short in the main power lines for the bike which may have been the issue all along. Going to replace the connectors and double check all the wiring from the battery and see if that helps on the power draw issue.
