Previous Bikes 1971 Tiger 650; ´73 Trident 750; ´73 Bonneville 750; ´74 Ducati 750 GT It´s been a while, obviously, since I´ve ridden, but have become intrigued with the Thruxton, and to a lesser extent, the Bonnie T100. Questions: My ´73 Bonnie would break into a speed wobble for any unpredictable reason whatsoever, moderate cornering speeds, high speed runs, etc. Needless to say it was very unsettling, as compared to the Ducati which was a paragon of stability. Has anyone noticed any untowardly head wagging on their new Triumphs? I like the more upright riding style of the Bonnie, but love The T´ton´s more aggressive looks and power curve. This is based on published specs, as I haven´t ridden either. Has anyone done a back to back comparison and come away with a distinct impression one way or the other? Thanks "tons" for your time, Jack |
