I asked this question a year ago, but no one cared to answer. shame. So I purcchased a non original set and mounted it myself,never had any problem. the typhoon´s mirrors are not the type on a naked 10 mm rod, but a strong arm and strong bolt, that can carry loads without a problem.
The full hight screen, causes consuderable drag, especially in windy eather, but is much better in cold weather.
