It depends entirely on how you ride... if you´re doing a ton of stop and go, it means you´re going to be running your motor at pretty high RPMs and while not traveling very far, ergo you´re not going to get very good MPG. On the other hand, if you ride at the peak mph per rpm speed (don´t know what that is for a scooter), then you´re going to get the 100mpg. At any rate, the Typhoon has a comparable MPG to any other scooter in it´s class, and is greatly effected by your driving style. I can safely say though, that even if you drive it in the worst possible way, you´re still going to get excellent mpg.
