The 04´ was the first Scarabeo 500 to be released. I have both the 04 and 06 model purchased used. 06 replaced my 04 whihc suffered a crash. Bike´s design (fairing and side cases) saved my legs from injury.

My girl and I LOVE the bike but new owners may be concerned about maintenance. I personally had to bring it in to the shop for stalling problems. It was prevalent on my 04´ and it went away after riding it for over 2k miles on top of the 2k from teh previous owner. Just came back with my 06´ less than a month ago after purchasing from a previous owner out of state and got stalling problems after I parked it at home. Could be bad gas since it was stored for over 8 months. Whole 3 hour ride home was fine however.
