Planning to buy a Duke |

I am interested in changing my Honda 250R with a 2002 black Duke, which is for sale at Quito. My mechanic prevented me to buy it since he thinks it is a delicate machine and we will have difficulties with it´s maintenance. I live in Ecuador, and it is true that we have very few european motorcycles (little access to spare parts) since our market is invaded by japanese brands. What would you suggest me? Is the Duke a difficult to maintain moto? What are your experiences? I do not plan to make many kms, just a few thousand per year. Thanks, Gonz |
