Idle fast

I just got my bike and would like to know why it idles fast/loud. I usually end up moving the choke midway to ride because it turns off if I push it back all the way. After 25 minutes it just goes on fast idle. Does the choke need to be all the way back when it´s warmed up/riding? Do I need to do something myself or would I need to bring it in to a shop?
