I just recently got 48 MPG with my ZRX loaded with camping gear on a trip to LaGuna Seca, Monterey, CA., for the GP racing last July. That was at 80 mph most of the way. Your mileage is excellent! My bike is an unmodified California bike with the emissions on it so I don´t think I´ll ever do better than 48. Around town & commuting I get a consistent 42-43 mpg. One other thing I will mention though, off the subject, is the ZRX saddle has a lot to desire. After about 75 miles my butt was really hurting. I did have a small crescent shape sleeping pillow that I finally tried and it helped a little. I guess my next purchase is either a gel-pad or a Corbin seat. I had a Corbin on my previous Suzuki 1400 Intruder and it solved the butt pain completely.
