I purchase an ´05 Roadking Standard and in 7 months, put 10,000 miles on it and loved it. As far as maintenance, I would follow the manual. Break-in maintenance at 1,000 mi. 5,000, 10,000 and I believe every 5,000 there after. Not all dealers or shops charge the same price, so I would call around when you are ready.
