As far as I knnow the Deuce is not being discontinued. It is a more limited production than some other bikes but is still a very popular ride. The Dyna line has a new frame and some other offerings for ´06, But the Deuce just as a color change. I believe the next change for Harley will a new version of the Sporty been around since ´57 so it´s due. If you keep the bike clean and pampered you´ll get 80% or better of you money back. If you want to look for an investmet you´ll have to store itand wait 20-30 years.
