I started out with a 74 XLCH 1000 and traded up to the 05 1200 Custom. I love it. What a difference. I like the forward controls and mine came with quite a bit of chrome. I will probably keep this till it won´t run anymore. The only gripe I have is that the forward controls could be about 2 inches further forward. If you are tall, it gets a bit cramped. But I just put my ankles on the pegs when I can.
