Just got mine back after 600-plus mile dealer break-in service. Removed the throttle restrictor assembley (throttle slide wasn´t even coming up half way!), and modified it to allow full throttle.(It´s a small, threaded bolt-type device under the top carb cover that limits the upword travel of the needle/slide assembly. Cut it off short with a hacksaw, and cut a screwdriver slot on the top end. Make sure to use the spring and needle collar on the bottom end!) Removed intake baffle on top of airbox, and double metal screen on end of exhaust silencer. NOW it runs like it should!! |
