Kick Start?

I have just bought a 225 yamaha xt 2005 i notised on the side of the transmission that there is a plastic cover and it says next to it, "kick Start" i am wondering if there is a kick start you can actually add on? and if so would it be pricey and a hard job? Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for the time
