depends what you want.i race a 04 R1 and a friend of mine races a 04 1000RR.i have ridden his CBR and it tips into corners better than my R1 but doenst have the mumbo coming out of turns.the R1 is definately more aggressive than the CBR but they are much of a muchness on the track.i chose the R1 for looks as well because you cant compare the dated look of the blade to the R1 ie:gauges,seat,sleeknes.my choice would be the R1 but if your not into brutal ,harsh power then go for the blade.
