Im lucky because iv got an uncle with the new blade and up until last week i had a 04R1. found the blade was to quiet the R1 like the ZX10 has masive ram air intakes when you get it above 4,500rpm it **** roars at you instant hard on. its also got the bigest stopers 320mm copared to the blades 310mm. and the look **** me i had one in silver and it always turned heads. on the down side its a bit bogie down under 6,500rpm so if lifting the front under power at an intersection is your thing think again you need to push up around 7,000rpm but the honder isnĀ“t good for it eather the GSX-R1000 has still got the best bottom end tourque any were from 3,500rpm and the things on the back weel. a plus for the honder is the single can wich if you buy a good after market will set you back a grand the R1 on the other hand can sting you almost double. what ever you dicide try to buy in a major capital city were bike shops r compiting for your cash. im currently in bum **** ideho with one shop for all the major brands and all the staff at all the shops need there heads checked. good luck
