Hi, I´m Eric in So. Cal and just bought the FJR a couple of weeks ago. I bought it to have some fun with and to do some touring. It looked like THE bike with the great reviews and relatively hight seat height. I´m coming off a CB750 Nighthawk and this bike is, well, you can imagine (coming from a ´93 750) - a rocket ship! I´m 6´4 and the only real issue is that the seat-to-pegs dimension is too short. After rides of a half hour or greater my knees start to get sore and that isn´t too good if I want to ride any distance (thinking about a cross country run). I would like to RAISE the seat and/or lower the pegs (and shifter/brake - not too feasible) and/or put some highway bars out front to at least be able to stretch my legs out (that might be tough getting around the fairing). Any ideas?
