Is it possible to change the drive ratio?

I have a 2006 VStar 1100 Custom. I do a lot of highway driving, at speeds 65+ mph. When I´m in the highest gear (5th), and ride above ~60 mph, I find I´m looking for another top-end gear. Is there a way to lower the engine rpms at higher speeds? Can the drive ratio be changed? It´s a shaft drive, so not sure what a solution might be. The bike doesn´t have a tach, so I´m not sure what the rpms are at those higher speeds, but the feel/sound tells me it would be great to have a higher gear. Would love your help! Thanks.
