2001 Honda Reflex Trike Conversion Kit

2001 Honda Reflex Trike Conversion Kit

After the Trike conversion kit was installed, the installer forgot to attach the cable to the locking latch for the seat. Now I can´t open the seat. Can you tell me how I can open the seat from the outside so I can attach that cable to the latch to open the seat with a key. I can´t remove the side panel as you have screws holding it on and to get at those screws you need to open the seat.
It´s a Catch 22 situation.
Please help me with this one.
